primesense-nite-nonfree software package provides OpenNI module providing gesture and skeleton tracking, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install primesense-nite-nonfree
primesense-nite-nonfree is installed in your system.
Make ensure the primesense-nite-nonfree package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep primesense-nite-nonfree *
You will get with primesense-nite-nonfree package name, version, architecture and description in a table
